The basic directions of researches and achievements
In compliance with the Law of Ukraine “On paramount directions of advancement of science and technologies” (N2623-14 of 11.07.2011) the B.Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine has been performing research within the program “Fundamental research of the most significant problems of R&D, socioeconomic, social, political and human potentials aimed at promotion of the completing potentialities of Ukraine, continuous advancement of society and state”. The basic scientific leads of the research at the ILTPE approved by the Resolution of the Presidium of the National Academy of sciences of Ukraine ( ¹ 341 of 17.12.2010) within the subject scope “The most important problems of physical, mathematic and engineering sciences” include:
Low and ultralow temperature physics;
Solid state physics;
Nanophysics and nanotechnologies, including nanobiophysics;
Mathematical physics, analysis and geometry;
Physical and engineering problems of materials science.
Investigation of the nanostructure objects at low and ultralow temperatures is one of the priority scientific tasks of the ILTPE.
