Kharkiv is one of
the biggest cities of Ukraine (about 1,500,000 inhabitants), former capital of Ukraine and
the center of the cultural
and scientific life of the
Eastern Ukraine. It is located in the East-North of Ukraine, about 40 km from the border
between Ukraine and Russia. In the time of conference the weather in Kharkiv is usually
quite nice and stable with daytime temperature about 20 C. The Conference will be held
at the B.Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics
& Engineering which is in on the North-West of the city with good connections to
its other parts (including the metro-station in 100 m from the Institute).
