Kharkov, the second biggest city and a former capital of Ukraine (about
1,500,000 inhabitants), is a large cultural and scientific center of the Eastern
Ukraine. Kharkov is located in the East-North of Ukraine.
The CC-2006 Conference will be held at the B.Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics
& Engineering. Municipal transport connections are very
convenient: bus and trolley car stops are 50 m and a metro station is 200 m from
the Institute.
In early fall (Indian summer) the weather in Kharkov is usually quite nice
with the daytime temperature about 20 C.
